The clinically effective and easy to carry overlay
Created specifically for community application, the Invacare® Propad® Premier Mattress Overlay has been designed for use in conjunction with conventional mattresses to deliver exceptional comfort and pressure reduction. The Propad® Premier Mattress Overlay is suitable for those considered at 'High Risk' (Waterlow score - 20)* of developing pressure ulcers, by providing an excellent pressurereducing surface.
Effective Pressure Ulcer Prevention
The Invacare® Propad® Premier Mattress Overlay has a foam core which has independent, geometrically-cut surface cells. This significantly reduces shear and friction whilst increasing the support surface area, thereby reducing peak pressure.
Even Weight Distribution
The foam core has larger, more supportive cells at the centre and smaller cells at each end. This enables the mattress overlay to achieve even weight distribution by conforming to the shape and form of the body and cradles bony prominences.
Essential Air Circulation
The Propad® Premier Overlay has a network of 'keyhole' channels at the base of each cell. This ensures air circulation within the overlay, minimising the build up of heat and moisture, helping to reduce shear and friction, and prevent sweating.
